Boutique DuToit
Michelle DuToit Nortier is the founder and owner of Boutique duToit, a fashion and art-inspired boutique rooted in creativity, individuality, and personal expression.
Michelle has been an entrepreneur for over 13 years, beginning her journey with a small art studio in Oakmont. What started as a space dedicated to painting classes and creative workshops quickly grew into something much larger. As her artistic community expanded, so did her vision — evolving the studio into a boutique that blended her two lifelong passions: art and fashion.
Today, Boutique duToit represents the next chapter of that evolution. Michelle believes that fashion is a form of art, and her boutique reflects that philosophy through curated pieces that celebrate creativity, individuality, and confidence. Each piece is thoughtfully chosen with the intention that the person wearing it becomes part of the artwork.
In addition to running the boutique, Michelle continues to work as a professional artist. She offers private art classes, hosts creative events, and accepts professional mural commissions, allowing her to remain deeply connected to the artistic roots that launched her career.
The name DuToit holds deep personal meaning. Of South African origin, it is the maiden name of Michelle’s grandmother. Carrying the name forward through her brand is a tribute to her family heritage and the strong women who came before her.
For Michelle, Boutique duToit is more than a store — it is the culmination of years of creativity, resilience, and a lifelong love of art, fashion, and entrepreneurship.
