Hats

Hey there! I’m Michelle :)

So happy you’re here! Whether you’ve popped in to sign up for a painting class with me (or one of our awesome artists), or you’re just here to browse the shop—we’ve got a little bit of everything, and a whole lot of good vibes. From stylish fashion finds to creative classes that’ll get your hands happily messy, you’re in the right place.

I started this whole thing 12 years ago in Oakmont, PA. Back then, it was just me, a tiny art studio called Truthful Art Studio, and a big dream. I was teaching painting classes, restoring artwork, and doing custom pieces—just doing what I love. Fast forward to now: we’ve grown into a full-blown boutique-meets-creative-hub in the super cute town of Zelienople, PA, and honestly… it’s been a wild (and wonderful) ride.

These days, we offer all kinds of classes—painting, macramé, crochet, jewelry-making—you name it. You can join a class on our calendar or plan your own private party (yep, we travel too!). We’ve also got a full women’s boutique stocked with styles we adore—and we think you will too.

Custom work? Oh yeah, that’s my jam. I paint jean jackets, shoes, murals, furniture, canvases—you dream it, we make it happen. We’re a super creative, slightly quirky, all-heart kind of place—and we want you to feel totally at home here. Kick back, be yourself, and hey, don’t be surprised if someone hands you a glass of wine. 🍷

Welcome to Michelle duToit Collective. Make yourself comfy—we’re so glad you came.

Shawna Weir

MACRAMÉ

Shawna Weir has been a lifelong creator, finding joy in artistic expression through various mediums. She earned her degree in Fashion Design and Merchandising from Kent State University in 2014. Since then, she has explored a range of art forms, with a focus on fiber arts and oil painting.

In 2017, Shawna founded Shawna Loretta Art, where she works as a self-taught macramé artist, crafting everything from plant hangers and purses to wall hangings and baby swings—often incorporating bohemian touches like crystals.

In addition to her art, Shawna is a certified Kundalini Yoga instructor through the Kundalini Research Institute. With over a decade of personal practice and five years of teaching experience, she shares the healing power of Kundalini Yoga—known as the “yoga of awareness”—which has played a vital role in her own journey with anxiety and depression. Shawna also practices Reiki, further supporting her commitment to holistic wellness and creativity.
